Why should I post my idea(s) or inventions(s) on IdeaAdz.com?

Many people have great ideas for products or services that have the potential to make a lot of money.  However many of these ideas do not get much though because of the lack of exposure.  By posting your idea on IdeaAdz.com we are giving the exposure that your ideas deserve for FREE!  If a company or investor is interested in your ideas then they can contact you by email to learn more.  We will have successfully made a connection between the people with great ideas and those who can make them come to life.

Another advantage of posting your ideas on IdeaAdz.com is that interested parties come to you for your ideas or inventions as opposed to you going out and trying to find a company to buy into your ideas.  So this becomes a more efficient way for you to get your ideas to the right company.  There will be less rejection because if a company reads your idea ad and is not interested, they can move on to the next idea.  You won't get the rejections for uninterested parties.

Don't waste your great ideas.  Everyone has at least one great idea for a product or services but don't have the means to get their ideas noticed.  IdeaAdz.com give you that foot-in-the-door opportunity.

If I post my idea or invention online, what prevents someong from stealing the idea or reporducing the invention?

The ad you make for your idea, should only be a description.  No drawings, schematics, or pictures are to be used in the ad.  When you write your ad, make it so that when your read the description, you will want to learn more about it, but at the same time you will not be able to reproduce it just from the description alone.  For example, in your ad the description can go like this:  "I have an idea for a product that will help you emilinate those pesky bar soap reminants.  The idea is simple to may yest cost-effective for both the company and the consumer."  As you can see in the description, you have answered this consumer problem without giving the reader the ablility to reproduce the idea just from your description.  On the same token, you may spark the interest of a soap company who is willing to learn more about this idea.  They can then contact you via email.

So the key in making a great ad for your idea is to keep int informative and yet secretive.  Avoid writing about measurements or physical descriptions.  Lastly read the ad before you post it and if you can reproduce or "steal" the idea just from the description, then you have too much detail.

How do I post the ad for my idea(s)?

The first step is to create a user account.  By creating a user account you will have the ability to keep track of ALL your ideas and Idea Adz.  You can also edit and delete any of your Idea Adz.  Lastly, you will be able to view responses to your ad and create new ones as well. 

After creating your user account, you will be given directions to create your Idea Ad. 

1.  Title.  What is the name you will give your idea or invention?

2.  Category.  Choose the best category that your idea belongs to.

3.  Country.  Choose the country your are from

4.  Ad type.  Choose whether you would like to keep this ad FREE or FEATURED.  IF you choose for your Idea Ad to be featured, there will be a fee.

5.  Description of your invention/idea.  Write a short description of your idea and how it soles an unmet consumer need.

6.  Website.  Enter your URL address for your personal or business website. 

7.  Patent.  Do you have a patent for your idea or invention?  Answer "yes" or "no".

8.  Prototype.  Do you have a prototype of your idea or invention?  Answer "yes" or "no".

9.  Targeted Consumers.  List who you think would benifit from your idea or invention.

10.  List Companies.  List all the companies you think would be interested in your idea. You can list as many companies as you want.  The more the better.

11.  Contact information.  Type either your phone number, email, or your preferred contact information.

After entering the information your ad will be created.

How will I know if a company has responded to my Idea Ad?

You will receive a message/comment in your account.  Also if you browse for your Idea Ad, comments will be visible online.  Lastly, companies who are truly interested, can contact you by the preferred contact information that you entered in creating the ad via email or by phone.

How long will my Idea Ad stay online?

All FREE Idea Adz will remain online for a period of one month (30 days).  All FEATURED Idea Adz will stay online for a period of 3 months (90 days).

What happens if someone steals my idea as a result of my Idea Ad? 

It will be very difficult to steal your exact idea just from reading a description online.  Unfortunately if this does occur, we are not responsible for the content of the Idea Ad you had posted.  Your Idea Ad is your responsibility and if someone had the ability to reproduce your idea or invention perfectly, then your description was too detailed.

What is the benefit of having your Ad featured?

If your Ad is FEATURED, it will be on a separate page of the website that will always be present.  Regularly posted Idea Adz will be listed in chronological order so that the oldest ideas would be several pages back.  Feature Adz will be listed on a separate page and it will limited to only a hundred adz.
